Parables are a means of providing instructive material through enjoyable stories. Today Del Walmsley illustrates how they can be hijacked to fit the narrative of the storyteller intending to influence the way you think. In the Golden Goose, Farmer Del changes his position in the marketplace to be increasingly profitable and thus changes his outcome and fate. You can also live the parable of your dreams, just decide what you want that to look like, and what the most effective way is to get there.
